Cano on first with one out, Showalter brings in a left-hander to face Berkman who's hitting under .200 on the right side of the plate. He doesn't bring Thames and Berkman strikes out.

He brings Thames though as a pinch hitter to Granderson who has actually been better against lefties than Berkman, Thames singles, we have 2 outs.

Cervelli who's a stiff comes to the plate and he doesn't bring Posada to hit for him. He swings at the first pitch and grounds out.

I'm really hoping this guy leaves in the end of the year.

I was wondering why Cervelli hit there.

What an awful series for NYY. Wow.

I have the answer for this. Teixeira has been very quiet in this series, looks like whenever he cools off, so does everyone else. Cano has been looking like shit lately also, so out bats haven't been producing.

Why are they so much better without A-Rod in the lineup?
