This is my 3rd biggest bet of the season and thought I would give it a thread of it's own ...

Tigers are 1-5 in their last 6 vs. a team with a winning record.
Tigers are 1-9 in their last 10 vs. American League Central.
Tigers are 1-4 in Galarragas last 5 starts.
Tigers are 1-5 in Galarragas last 6 starts vs. a team with a winning record.

White Sox are 22-4 in their last 26 home games.
White Sox are 6-0 in Garcias last 6 starts vs. a team with a losing record.
White Sox are 5-1 in Garcias last 6 home starts.

White Sox are 14-2 in Garcias last 16 starts vs. Tigers.
White Sox are 5-1 in Garcias last 6 home starts vs. Tigers.
Home team is 8-1 in Danleys last 9 games behind home plate.

The Tigers didn't win a road series in three months. Garcia is 3-0 with a 2.75 ERA in three starts this season against Detroit and 18-5 with a 3.66 ERA in 29 career outings, including 9-1 in the last 12. The 18 wins are his most versus any opponent. Galarranga is 0-4 with a 5.31 ERA in seven starts and 0-1 with a 5.60 ERA in his last three road starts against the White Sox.

The WhiteSox are the most dominante team in the last two months, the lose yesterday was a total fluke and against a team that is done this season and is playing terrible on the road with one of the best home pitchers in the league and a VERY home favorite ump, this should be an easy and very big pay day.

The White Sox are 16-14 since the all-star break so not sure how you came up with this.

I can say with strong confidence that I have more money riding on the Chicago White Sox than any poster in this forum (I might even have more riding on them than all the SBR posters combined).

They are falling apart and continue to blow big leads late in games (first it was Jenks and now Putz).

I understand why you like them tomorrow but they are falling apart at the worst possible time.

Didn't check the 16-14 since ALL-STAR break, but you are right, I need to correct that. They have the best record is baseball in the last two months. I will edit that.

During the White Sox 25-5 run before the All-Star break, the casino I frequent never changed the odds on the White Sox to win the AL Pennant and World Series. I went back on 5 different occassions and hammered the White Sox at 35-1 to win the AL Pennant and 75-1 to win the World Series.

I also have them at 21-1 to win the AL Central.

Even when the White Sox were tied with the Tigers with the Twins being 4 games back, I knew the Twins would be my major opposition so I hedged with the Twins. Unfortunately, I didn't hedge anywhere near enough.

I don't chase. I have 100 units on the line one day, 10 the next, I have a yearly goal, I look into each day as a new day and even if I lose ALL my bets today which are over 100 units, I am still well ahead this season so there is no reason to chase.

lol you dont chase grumpy? i followed you at the start of second half and have never bashed you because I don't believe in that. you make your plays public on a public forum and it is no one's fault but their own to tail someone. you try your best and that's all one can ask. but for people who are trying to do good research and not blindly tail I feel like they owe the truth - you do chase. In the new thread (you made a ton...but in the second one after second half started), you even admitted to chasing a bit and betting WAY more many games than you should. you were down and chasing. Grumpy has had great seasons past in betting but in my opinion, this is a very bad off year for him in MLB. He has made it VERY CLEAR why he makes new threads, which is completely understandable but I just want this post here for people who are not familiar to not get fooled - being up 30 units on "this new thread" is very different than what he is up (likely, down) overall. I feel like people are owed this perspective... gl on the rest of the year Grumpy. Hope you can bounce back.
