Id rather go with Pit, Cubs are terrible and Zito is priced right being at home and his solid outings.

McDonald is off a nice start in his last game, striking out a career-high eight while throwing a 4-hitter for six innings in a 5-1 home win versus Colorado. That was McDonald's Pittsburgh debut.

McDonald, though, is nowhere near that good. The Dodgers had high hopes for him during spring training, but soon gave up on him eventually dealing him to Pittsburgh. The Pirates are willing to give just about any pitcher a chance. McDonald's brilliant performance against Colorado sets up a nice value play on the 'over' because the oddsmaker has put too much stock in that one performance. Keep in mind, too, the Pirates' bullpen is in a state of flux without a legitimate closer.

The other side of the handicap is Padres starter Kevin Correia. He, too, is off a fine outing shutting out the Dodgers on four hits in 5 2/3 innings this past Thursday.

But starts like that have been rare for Correia. His walks are up nearly two a game from last year and he's already surrendered 17 homers, which is as many as he gave up all of last year. Correia has eight walks and only four strikeouts during his last three starts. His ERA at Petco Park is 4.52, which is terrible for such a great pitcher's park.

Neither McDonald nor Correia are strong enough pitchers to have the linesmaker put out a 7 on their total, which is what this matchup opened at. But because they both pitched shut out games in their last start, the line has been skewed downward. It's time to take advantage of that by going over

i think the under might actually be the right call here...in petco park and neither of these teams are especially strong hitting teams.the pads could win this one 4 or 5 to 1

I like CHC +154 tonight. SF has been ice cold against lefties for a while now & Gorzo actually pitches much better away from Wrigley. I also like the fact that the Scrubs have had good success against Zito & at SF.

They should "of" lost Monday night? Clearly you didn't watch the game. The should "HAVE" won that game by 5 runs.

Pittsburgh and over is the play here. Bucs lineup looks strong, as far as bucs lineups go.

I made a small parlay on the two favorites.
