I don't like taking Waino unders on the road. He's not quite as lights out away from StL, yet the lines typically read like he is.

Notice the immediate jump from opening at 7 to 7.5.

Wainwright's given up 6 ER in 13 IP vs. CIN this year.

            Wainwright's 5-6 on the road.

Arroyo's given up 10 ER in 21.1 IP vs. StL this year.

Arroyo has a 4.17 ERA at home.

Hitters know both pitchers well, having faced these guys for a third and fourth time this season, respectively.

This game is a bitch to cap...

Arroyo had nasty shit on his last start, Reds playing at home to avoid being swept.

On the other side we have arguably the hottest pitcher in baseball right now, with a day ERA of 1.45.

I'm leaning Cards. Reds let me down so much and they can kiss my ass, Cards are taking the division.

wainwright's record is bad on the road, not his ERA, lets get that straight. he is solid on the road, maybe not quite as dominant but he just threw a shutout against the fish on the road last week

Reds are a little tougher offensively than the Marlins.

Don't get me wrong -- I love Wainwright and will be taking StL here. It's no sure thing, though.

If the line-up is there, you have to take Cards the way they are hitting.

oh i know, i'm just saying, his poor road record is definitely because of the cardinals hitting being inconsistent on the road. I agree with you though, not a sure thing but waino is definitely the side to be on

                                Wow, Ramon Hernandez destroys Waino

Good thing Hanigan is catching tomorrow for Arroyo.

solid post here, after seeing this I am more confident in the cards sweeping tomorrow.

i really think phillips pissed some people off with his comments, we all know he pissed Molina off, he lit a fire under this team and they're getting swept tomorrow

Nothing against you, but I just hate when someone says this. No total can be "due" to hit. Just doesn't work like that.
