werth is in a terrible slump. that guy is due to bounce back. i think his stat against florida this series is like 0-10 with 8 strike outs. ouch

Werth has been in a terrible slump he had those 3 games where he actually swung. Besides that he has been getting killed since the second half started. I can't understand what this guy does at the plate. He takes the first two strikes always then decides to get the bat off his shoulder. It usually result in a strikeout. I'm surprised about how the phils secondary players have been smacking the ball. The reason for this pick has more to do with Oswalt than it does their bats. BOL
