Atlanta Braves again today

The Braves will be looking to Jair Jurrjens to earn them a win, something he's been doing with regularity since returning from a stint on the disabled list. The right-hander is 2-0 with a 2.61 ERA in his past three starts. His last start, against the Marlins, did see him allow four earned runs, although manager Bobby Cox wasn't worried by that at all.

"J.J. pitched a heck of a game, he really did," Cox said. "The four runs in that [fourth] inning were just stupid runs. A dribbler up the middle, a dribbler to the right side, a hit-and-run dribbler and one ball hit good, [by Wes] Helms. That was it -- four runs. I thought he was outstanding. It's just a shame that we lose that game."

Jurrjens has been somewhat of a stopper for the Braves, but Saturday he'll have to hurdle the Reds, something he's never done in his career. Jurrjens is 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA lifetime against Cincy.

But Jurrjens can't gain the win alone, he'll need some support from Atlanta's bats, which have been caught sleeping recently. After a quiet series in Washington, the Braves tallied 12 hits in the opener on Friday night, but left 12 runners on base. They'll have to do their damage Saturday against Bronson Arroyo, who is fresh off a stellar start in which he allowed three runs on three hits over eight innings.

Atlanta is going to win today and the team total over 4.5 is a good looking pick also if I like them here.

braves are sitting jones and glaus, while cinci is bringing out all the big guns. i like cinci here even considering volquez is on the hill. GL to us all though.
