    Clev Indians trading Westbrook
Cleveland Indians is moving forward on trading pitcher J. Westbrook (6-7 4.65 ERA). If the trade is done J Tomlin (R) is expected to pitch today against the Toronto Blue Jays (game 917-918).

Buster Olney's (senior baseball writer for ESPN Magazine) comment on twitter:
"Heard this: If the CLE/STL/SD thing goes through, the Padres will send money and a prospect to the Indians."

Richard, can you post when you find an updated line? I'm actually interested in the Blue Jays runline. Just tell us the book and the price. Thanks!

I could see Westbrook really helping somebody in the National League. He's a good contact pitcher that knows how to locate his pitches. Get him in the hands of Dave Duncan and he could really help the Cardinals.

                    I'm off the Jays.

Here's what Tomlin did against the YANKEES in his first start:

7 inn, 3 hits, 1 run, no walks.

toss that out the window. you cant put much stock into a 1st career start...good or bad

and this time, he is on 3 days rest on the road
