If he shows up, so be it. Fact of the matter is he's been a horrible road pitcher his entire career, and he's given up 11 ER in his last 2.1 IP, including getting bombed by the Stros themselves in his last start.

Have you seen Houston offense lately? I have both Carlos Lee and Lance Berkman in my Fantasy baseball team. Mendoza brothers have been absolutely horrible for the whole season and more so lately. If not for Pence hitting, Astros would have been shut out past few games.Comment -
honestly though i do my best to try and avoid pitchers that havnt made more than 3 starts at least (of coarse being a degen i break this a lot) but it did keep me off of thinking about the chisox today.....Comment -
Add that to his career road numbers -- the guy has been one of the worst road starters in baseball for quite some time. He may be 5-1 this year, but he was 2-8 in '08, 4-10 in '07 and 4-9 in '06, and his ERAs were astronomical.

I actually like the over in this game. Not sure on which team though. I agree Silva has been horrible for the past two games. But, he has pitched well for half the season and he actually pitched very well against Astros earlier this year (if I remember correctly he gave up 2 runs only). As horrible as Silva has been lately, I believe Astros offense is worse than Silva.Comment -
