    Hip to be square: K.I.S.S.
    Keep It Simple Stupid.

I'm dumbing down my action for Thursday, going with four better teams, better pitchers and home squads as chalky, square plays:

    Tigers -140
    Cardinals -169
    Rangers -161
    Dodgers -161

    Thoughts?

I also love the StL/PHI under, which means I should probably play the over.

yep like all 4, they all seem too easy though...too many picks seem too easy tomorrow...fla/reds/cards/det/min/nyy/tex/bos all seem too good to be true

I saw that post in an earlier thread, and you seem to pick a lot of winners so I'd like to know what your angle is with Romero.

          Thanks!

well romero has plus stuff....when he came to the big leagues he was filthy...he got injured...bounced back well....had a few rough outings recently...but his last start was quality.....i dont trust verlander in this spot.....he did not look good against the indians last time out and has been having alot of control issues....tigers playing bad ball.....i like the +120.....i see romero going 7 or 8 innings...4 or 5 hits maybe a run or 2.......tigers bullpen is bad...

Romero's a different pitcher on the road, though.

If this game was in Toronto, I'd agree 150%.

                How about making 8 plays

                1% Tigers -140
                .5% Tigers -1.5 +155
                1% Cardinals -169
                .5 Cardinals -1.5 +140
                1% Rangers -161
                .5% Rangers -1.5 +130
                1% Dodgers -161
                .5% Dodgers -1.5 +135

Wainright has started 10 times this year at home. He has won all 10 of those starts.

Gl today bro, not sure I would lay all that juice. Even if you go 2-2 you will be losing a nice chunk. I do think the Cards sweep the Phils though. Hope you sweep 'em up NC!

the only thing that means anything is uncle charlie mandible bone-head, the good ole boy. he puts .200 hitters in the 3rd spot as a stroke of genius.

Hey man...I've exactly picked that four games this morning. But to be honest I'm a bit worried about all that "easy" plays today. A lot of home favorites with Aces on the mound like Cards, Marlins, Texas, Braves, Tigers, ... and also some good picks without an ace like the Dodgers and the BoSox.....I guess some of them are going to struggle, to fall and to lose....personally I would go with the Cards just because they're on a good run now....with hot bats. Texas, because they have a better line up than the Angels and Weaver has a higher chance to struggle than Lee. Braves could be a close one....Hudson can make a good game, but the braves have some days where they just don't hit. Tigers...normally a lock at home with Verlander on the mound. But i have to agree with bostonboss. Verlander didn't look good against Cleveland, and Romero can be tough to beat. That's why perhaps Dodgers and the Red Sox are the better picks?

Good Card today...but hard to pick the good games...

I think today is a chalky day. This has been happening this year in bases. My guess is 3 out of every 4 favs hit or more.

FL lost the first game of the series. I think they would be motivated to take 2 of 3. However, it's too chalky for my taste. I don't think it is wise to take the RL against a good hitting team like Colorado.

BOL, NC. no strong thoughts on your plays (other than that i don't know why you're considering a total given recent history), but sincerely hope that they hit for you.

I tried the approach once and it seems to not work either due to getting eat up with the juice. Never know could go 4-0 though today.

I actually played more games than this, and messed around with a few RL's (Brewers and Rangers) that will basically split my night unless Boston mucks this up.

Playing heavy favs consistently (not that you do that) is never the way...but if you can get more even than losing days you'll be a winning gambler. Who knew the Phils would throw a one hitter and barely win w/ 12 hits.
