It's a scary play with that much juice. Carpenter's career ERA against the Phillies is 5.73, while Moyer's is 2.34 (0.75 at Busch) against the Cards.

Carpenter may have struggled against the Phillies in the past and Moyer may have good numbers vs. the Cardinals, but the truth is this year's Phillies are a shadow of previous years' Phillies.
A Cardinals win here looks "easy" but it's, in fact, easy.

They only go down when the opponents outscore their team. In this case, the Phillies can't outscore the Cardinals. What folks haven't come to terms with is that the Phillies will continue to suck this year. They're the Tulsa Shock of the WNBA! If you keep fading these teams all season, you'll be rich very soon:

With that being said, they're playing well right now and Philly is struggling. No way I'd take a chance on the Phils at this point.

Kendrick looked awful last night. He looks as if he is pitching BP with his slow delivery and sub 90s pitches. Couldn't find the strikezone to save his life and he walked STL's pitched on 8 balls twice in a row.
