good bet....only problem i can see with it is we getting a lot of rain here in stl and they calling for more throughout the day so not sure if the game gets effected or not (hate wagering on games with delays and/or shortened).....GL

Suppan has been awful this season. I like LA to avoid the sweep as well.

padilla 1-4 on the road, not a -140 road favorite pitcher no matter what; at st.louis too??? if the dodgers win the game goes over cause padilla is giving up runs here in this game. good luck!

i think you are either underestimating Padilla or overestimating Cardinals offense, did you see the crap we were waving the bats at yesterday? Padilla capable of getting a lot of swings and misses out of our lineup....of coarse there a good chance it goes over as Soup can be tagged at any point, wouldnt bank on the over though as our pen pretty rested and soup shouldnt go more than 5 probably giving up 3-4 runs and that could very well be enough for a LAD victory....rain could change everything though and i dont really like betting against the Cards unless im sure, i cant be sure with the ugly baseball Lad been playing.......still think this is either play on the dodgers or pass.....gl everyone

Soup Can blows. I think the Cards have accepted the fact that they will lose every 5 days.

With that said, I will not lay road juice with a team playing as bad as the Dodgers. Plus Loney is doubtful. They need bats.

Cardinals offence is terrible. They got only 3 good pitchers, that's all. Also, they're playing awful when going for sweep. I'm on Dodgers here!

STL are hitting well. Another reason I'm staying away. How is Suppan still pitching? I would rather bring a kid up from AAA. I can't believe this guy make $12+ mil.

we have no one!!!!! that is how......even worse news (Houli will like this), now they saying Loshe is gonna be back before Penny ....not even sure what the hell wrong with Penny, i thought it was a pulled muscle but they keep saying different shit about him......Loshe just as good a fade as Soup.....still passing on this game, as much as id like to take lad they have been playing like straight shit this series......saw someone mention us not sweeping, valid point, however we have swept a 4 game series this year (0-8 trying to complete a 3 game sweep, even worse going back to last year)...

my point is that padilla has one win in 5 starts on the road (his team ain't great on the road either) and now is favored on the road -140 vs a team that wins 67% of it's home games. it is due theory only OR suppan is better off throwing ephus pitches with his left hand

that would probably be correct...i hear you the juice is steep to play a team that is really hard to trust right now, that why im passing

PADILLA is 3-1 when starting against ST LOUIS with an ERA of 2.77 and a WHIP of 1.038.
His team's record is 3-1 (+2.8 units) in these starts. The OVER is 1-3. (-2.3 units)

he hasn't pitched in this park since 2002 and you don't know how his team was doing at the time of those starts, were they playing well? that is all well and good but the dodgers are playing like shit right now and he is -140 on the road, makes no sense. yes souparm is pitching for the cards but this line is too high for this game.

example: last night lester was a -145 favorite (now higher) vs the rangers today. lester has won 95% of his home starts since 2007 and is a dominant home pitcher and the red sox are a dominant home team (17-13 vs lefties too). these moneylines were virtually the same. which game is better to risk your money on? it is a no brainer!!! find a better game is my point. nothing is guaranteed but you need to put yourself in the best situation you can at that particular day and matchup.

thats all well and good bro but how far back did you have to go to dig up those numbers? i know he had one solid game against stl last year, before that i couldnt tell you the last time they faced him....i like Padilla but unless you think the guy just likes seeing the redbird logo im not sure those stats mean much....

That's his career vs the Cards since 97. I just think LAD is the play cause Soup ain't worth putting a dollar on.

huh? nearly perfect vs the cubs unless u are kidding. anyway the dodgers have faced 3 pitchers for the cards that have been very, very good. their top of the rotation is one of the best in the nl and the rest of them very bad so i can see the dodgers winning but not at this price.
