Wilson brings it at 98 MPH +

I love when people who have no clue try to claim outrageous things. It always makes for a great laugh.

Just my take, but I see at least one NL pitcher getting lit up. Mind you, when I say 'lit up' I mean 2-3 runs in one inning. Relatively low scoring, 4-2 AL.

Wilson always puts guys on and gets ur butthole all tight and u know it. A good closer is someone like Valverde who gets 1-2-3 outs. No sweat.

Wilson and Fuentes are garbage closers. Don't be a homer. Wilson has blew many RL games.

Wilson is a garbage closer because he blew your run line?

You are blinded by your own bets. Fuentes might be a garbage closer but Wilsons numbers speak for themselves.

I seriously doubt my homerism is what has put him on 2 all-star teams and produced the numbers that he has put up.

              Don't be a moron.

A closers job is to preserve the game for his team, not worry about Paco's thread.

loving the al lineup very well balanced. nl so weak at the bottom shouldve went with willie bees lineup card. AL for me they have a much better chance of going off here.

I will have to go with tradition on this one and bet the AL lineup with David Price at the mound.

In all due respect sir if you look at the posted line-ups the NL has no chance in this game plain and simple. The NL will lose this one by at least 3 runs.

From what I've seen so far. Ethier is playing in center. He has a hard enough time in right field as it is, how the hell do they expect him to play center, huge advantage for the AL. Also Molina has been one of the worst hitting catchers all year. (stupid fan voting) He is barely above the mendoza line. Biggest joke of the year so far.

Agreed that Yadier Molina is a joke, matter of fact that whole family is a joke.

                                              Anyway NL Wins this year.

I havent seen a solid argument for the NL except that they are due! WTF? Since when has the they are due worked.... NEVER!! The same people that are betting on the NL this year probably have been betting them for the past 13.

Would be delightful to see the national league finally win. I agree that they have the better pitching this year.

Never? Really? Not one person has ever bet a team thinking the losing skid would end that evening and cashed their ticket?

I wrote this piece simply to have some fun with this game which is, after all, just an exhibition and meant for fun. However, as goofy as it sounds to hit Pujols leadoff, I really do believe that's how Manuel should have built his lineup. Make Price face the NL's top hitter the past decade at the very start instead of succumbing to the 'traditional lineup.'
