Yea but career stats are usually unreliable unless you have a veteran pitcher against a division opponent he has made a lot of starts against. 5 isn't exactly a big sample size and you have to take into account what was the status of the White Sox during those games, who was he opposing, etc. They are red hot now.

that would be why im not playing the chisox (i was close)....im sure he will be great, question is does Peavy keep them close and if so how many innings will Weaver go before there shit pen comes into play? i just dont trust Laa right now, granted the odds are good to back them but im feeling the chisox right now as they playing good ball...pass for me so i hope everyone cashes with Laa ......

right. masterson looked like he'd seen a ghost. really hope the guy's okay (obviously), but they're taking guy out on a stretcher and amazingly he seems not to be terribly hurt. Underwood said he fell directly onto walkway and nothing and no one broke his fall - basically, Underwood all but said he thought for sure the guy was dead. fact they moved him onto stretcher is a good sign - if it was a spinal injury, no way they'd have moved him this fast.

reminds me of story my dad's best friend used to tell about going to a Phillies game, and a guy down third base line fell from second deck trying to catch foul ball. when he hit the deck below, he dropped the ball, and got booed. at least, that's the story he told.

unreal. you're right, though - announcers just said umps said they'll resume in about 5 minutes (little before 9:50 EST). they're saying the dude was conscious when they took him off. 2dabank right, i'm hoping Masterson can hold himself together. he looked pretty shook up.
