Terrible decisions on both of those tries. Swisher was only 5 feet past 3rd base when the cutoff man had the ball. Then Teixeira tried to tag up from 3rd on a shallow fly ball. Teixeira isn't exactly fast so I have no idea why they sent him. To make it even worse Hughes gave up another hr the next half inning. Not much is going right with the Yanks right now.

I totally disagree. I think they should have been sent both times. Did you see how perfect the Jays catcher blocked the plate on that play? Absolutely beautiful and thats not going to happen often.

Yes Molina definitely made a great play both times. The thing is that Swisher was only 5 feet past 3rd when the cutoff man was catching it and throwing it home. He had no chance IMO. Teixeira is also just too slow to tag from 3rd on that shallow of a fly ball. In any case the Jays made 2 great plays right there. Gardner just hit a 2 run inside the park homer tho to tie it.
