Who had the most gutless home performance on Wednesday?
    A lot of nominees:

Yankees (shut out by the Queen; beaten twice in a row by Seattle)
Giants (swept by the Dodgers, who are short-handed and coming off a demoralizing Sunday night loss at home to the Yankees)
Cardinals (slept through a 4-2 loss to a minor league pitcher and a last-place team)
Brewers (scored a grand total of one run against road Wandy of all people)
Angels (had one run in the last seven innings against some minor league scrub and his buddies)

A lot of bad ball today, folks.

      I'm sick of Sanchez.

Have that dude on my Fantasy team -- seems like he's never ready to turn the corner.

I don't see why the Angels are on this list, but ok.

You don't? They stranded 9 through 6 (6 in scoring position), then rolled over once they got behind.

Had no business losing that game, even with Kaz being Kaz. Ending up with just 4 runs given all their chances was a joke.

Stranding men on base happens everyday buddy.

Getting shutout at home and giving 7 runs to Seattle fukkin Mariners doesn't.

LAA scored 1 time in the last 7 IP against some crappy minor league pitcher who was all over the place and Nippert of all people.

At least the Yanks can say they got shut down by an ace.

                    Scrubbies

Shutout at home for about the 999th time.

I can't even include them anymore.

They belong in the "gutless seasons" thread.

Probably a good idea to fade them on Thursday, too.

they dont count......you have to expect something from a team before they can be a disappointment.....

Yankees. King Felix is great, but they laid down and died. That game was 3-0 for a long time, but it might as well have been 30-0. They stood no chance.

Scrubs are just pathetic. I mean how have the Rays been no-hit twice, but not the Scrubs?

Whoever owns the team just just ask Osama to send a suicide bomber to batting practice.

Although we expect a no heart performance from the Scrubs, doesnt mean they dont set the standard.

Whatever happend to great pitching beats great hitting. I wouldn't say the Yankees were gutless. Felix had a 91 mph splitter, good luck.
How about the Giants. Swept at home before going on a 12 game road trip. Watching the replay their effort was terrible. They played like they wanted to get swept by their biggest rivals.

I nominate and choose Kansas City, for having a 7-1 lead going into the top of the 8th, and giving up 5 runs to blow my -2.5 runs bet. So for being more concerned about winning the game then for winning my bet, I choose the Royals.
