    Why are the Tigers -170?
Scherzer has been terrible, Nats lit him up on his last outing and Lannan has been solid. This line doesn't make sense ... unless of course Vegas wants people piling on the Nats for "value".

I'm thinking Detroit bats light up Lannan.

    Can anyone convince me otherwise?

No clue but I would not lay that much juice on the Tigers with Scherzer throwing. Scherzer's ERA is over a run higher than Lannan's.

Only thing I can think of is that the Tigers are 5-1 against the Nats in their last 6. I actually was leaning on the Nats but decided not to play at all.

Convinced myself into taking the Tigers. I honestly think they are going to roll in this one. That line is meant to scare people off.

Way to much juice on the Tigers. I like the Nats.

I'm a Tigers fan but no way I can take this. It's -174 right now. I would have a hard time with this even if Verlander was on the mound against the Orioles.

So I think too, but the game is a pass for me.

No reason why they should be favored so much. Opened up last night at -150 and jumped to -170 today meaning that Detroit will win. Scherzer's win/loss is pretty bad and Lannan has been decent. With only 53% of public on Detroit that line movement makes no sense which leaves me with the conclusion that Was would be a trap play. Go with Detroit and hope you cash in.

Great value here, definitely worth a play on the Nats.

Here's why I don't like the over... It seems too easy.

Ordonez gets announced to play. The guy has over 40 RBI. Tigers ML rightly dropped from -150 to -174 when he was announced yet the over 9.5 went from -105 to + money. Does that make sense to you? Vegas wants you to pound the over.

I'm thinking Scherzer starts dropping K's like crazy.
