Philadelphia Phillies @ Boston Red Sox

    Joe Blanton
    1-4, 6.07 ERA

    Daisuke Matsuzaka
    5-2, 4.59 ERA

Blanton hasn’t won a start since May 15th and is just 1-4 on the year with a 6.07 ERA. After posting a K/9 of 7.51 last year, his 22 strikeouts in 43.0 innings of work (4.60 K/9) is embarrassing. The home run ball has always been a problem for Blanton, as he has conceded 118 dingers in 169 career starts, and this year is no exception. The righty has allowed nine bombs in seven outings. If there is a bright spot, it is that Blanton is 3-2 with a 3.61 ERA in his career against the BoSox.
Daisuke Matsuzaka for the season,is 5-2 with a 4.59 ERA, but his ERA has come shooting down from 11.57 after one start and 7.89 as recently as May 17th.

not exactly sure but is betting over a number of 10 profitable? i know blanton sucks and matzu-walk-yo-ass isn't to consistent either but i have learned not to bet these "high" totals even though the offenses can score and the pitchers blow. weather is cool and damp here in boston for what's it is worth. good luck!

Does your bet count even though Dice-k got scratched?
