If Phillies offense wasnt so shit, they would have a chance.

Congrats Padres backers.
Cole Hamels is a long way from those World Series MVP days.

I'd have to disagree. His composure and confidence are definitely back to normal, and he has added a pitch to his arsenal. I think giving up 3 hits, 2 BBs and 2 runs in 7 innings is pretty close to where he was. Once the strikeouts start coming back again, he's basically there.
Did you go big on the Phils today or something?

Jim Joyce doesn't have to worry about blowing the no-hitter with a bad call this time though at least...

Um, he's given up three hits and two runs in eight innings. Maybe you should direct your vitriol at the offense, which the Padres are shutting out.

He was so nasty in that playoff run. I agree he does look a little better this year, but like u said, still a shell of his former self.

Yeah, dont blame Cole because he is getting no run support. This offense stinks right now.

Knew it, saw it, looked at it and said how can the Phillies not overcome this defense...I'm so happy I listened to my D-man hockey instincts...Tomorrow, cheers all
