Cause Brock loves and craves the attention an online gambling forum brings to him. He won't admit he doesn't know much about baseball. CBB he is very good, but seems to be way below average in MLB. He put that Cards pick out there for the followers and there was no ****ing reason to do so. If he had a clue he would have looked at a team like the Phillies today and looked and some trends, numbers, line movement, etc. and seen great value in betting Philly. I think I got Philly for -102

also gave out a +190 winner on Pittsburgh today and the day before on the over...but that gets forgotten.

Brock, you have my support, we are a community here, but I am very disappointed in that shitty play you gave out. when I noticed this thread and read it was a "Rubberband play" I was suprised to see it was the Cards. After reviewing the matchup I decided that it was a no play for me. I really liked the Reds play here but let it go.

Here's the bottom line: Brock is an arrogant prick, he's riding his prior success like Tara Reid but he's just not putting out results. You guys wonder why he doesn't give reasoning for his plays? It's because his reasoning is "Adam Wainwright is awesome." He's not putting thought and effort into these picks. He thinks he's golden. He threw over 4 g's on this play because he knew he's been struggling with his rubber band plays but he thinks he's a genius so he believes he's due to hit one. This is also the mentality of a degenerate gambler who bets way the hell above his bankroll which he has admitted he does, because that's how action gamblers roll. He's broke and in Gamblers Anonymous for a reason people.

I honestly hope he turns it around, if only for his family's sake, but I don't see it happening. The only real success story will come when he quits.

Even if by some miracle they do win this, this shows the true end of the rubberband play saga. When a team that has a 50/50 chance of winning, playing on the road, while the home team is having a celebration all over town, is the rubberband play, the allure is over. Rubberband plays are supposed to be sit back & dont worry plays, plays that have such a high probability of hitting that you dont have to sweat them. & if you do have to sweat, its because something horribly bad that cant be foreseen happened.

the thing is that I wasn't trying to start anything. It's an Internet forum like I want to argue with someone. I stated my reasons for the reds and asked for an opinion. We all now know he had no reasoning and that's why some people get defensive.
