This Thread started LITERALLY the day that their longest losing streak this season has. Bad luck to say the least. I personally am not giving up on this yet, and will have coin on most Nats games this season. It is a long run winner in my opinion.

Although I am not doubling every time, game 1-2 =.5 units 3-4 =1 unit 5=2 (so far down 4 units) I am thinking of dropping 3 units on today's game for a return of 2.20ish and am completely comfortable with that.

    any thoughts?

With the amounts you have shown... would it not be impossible to be down exactly 4 units? check your math or explain!

If you lost .5, .5, 1, 1, that would be three...at that point you say you move to 2 units... I believe that equals five...

    MLB:
    POSTED PLAYS: (30-27) (+1.40 Units)
    (5/19 Boston -123)
Nats Chase (0-5) (-5.0 Units) <<<Your record even indicates you are down 5 units not 4!

Any chase that lasts five games without a win would be considered a major fail... will the Nats start winning some games of course... But timing is everything and you guys picked the worst time! The person starting this thread found that out and stopped posting picks already... You may have done the right thing staying small... Maybe it will work out for you chasing a team that was predicted to win in the bottom two or three in the league... I hope it works for you...

Gotta feeling when Strasburg comes up they will be a team to start putting a little change on. Not saying he'll be a savior or anything, but 8-10 wins from him would be good with Nats probably being dogs most of the year.

Look back to the Nationals first season in Washington. Each season there has been at least one 8+ game losing streak. Chasing with the Nationals will kill your bank roll if you add units during one of their losing streaks.

Yeah, that was a mistype/ miscalc. My bad. I am going to play this one out for the next week or so, Nats always play the Mets Good, and Baltimore is pretty God awful this season.

Every year I kind of attach myself to a couple of teams that I find good value in and bet them heavily,

I liken this to a Sniper approach as opposed to the shotgun that seems to get me in trouble during football season where I bet too many games where I do not have intimate knowledge of the team.

I will be on the Nats tonight for sure. Tomorrow maybe, and a strong look at all three Orioles games.

Give up your ego and bet the fckin' RL!!! You know the stats. Last 5 games, Wash. won 3 on the RL.
Today they're home fav's w/ a good pitcher. NOW bet the ML.

If you want to bet the ML when they're dogs, bet 67% on RL and 33% on ML. Pure money $$$$$.

Facepunch ok now in your system after 5 straight losses and Washington being a favorite tonight do you revert back to .5? You should list the bet amounts in case. this does start winning...

Still Going for 2 units so the bet amount is 2.8 units.

Still hammering out what I want to do here.

I think if this one wins and since it is a two game series, then I will revert back down to .5 or 1(which will give me a win for the series no matter what)

I suppose that I should be writing this in my own Nats thread (since I kind of hijacked this one)
