I want to apologize to Vegas and all on this thread for totally jinxing everything. Started tailing yesterday and 0-4. Today 0-2 with the Pads down 4-2 in the 7th as I type this. I'm on such a bad streak of luck right now I am almost speechless. I feel totally cursed right now and feel that I will jinx anyone who comes in contact with me. I could fill pages on this forum telling about all the really weird stuff that has happened with me lately. I will try one more day tomorrow but if I jinx the picks tomorrow I will stand down so that Vegas and all here can profit. Let's see what one more day can do.

Boy it sure is. There are 4 teams that have done more to wipe me out this year in baseball. It's the Phillies, Giants, Padres and Angels. I just can't seem to get on the right side of these 4 teams to save my life. They do the opposite of what I need every time. I said I would permenantly ban these teams from play but I gave Phils and Padres one more chance the last 2 days with the same results. This time the the DIVORCE is final Phillies and Padres!!!! LOL! If Phillies, Padres and Giants all make the playoffs I wouldn't be able to bet National League playoff games. LOL!!!!

I hate Boston and I just like the new lineup with Manny in Chicago so I took them +1.5. Turned out to be my only win of the day. Man how many losses has fvckin Philly cost us the past two weeks? You aren't the only one hitting a bump right now VG. Pimike has been sliding here as of late too, especially from this terrible run San Diego has been on. 10 losses in a row right? He's gonna be doubling up on them tomorrow and I'll probably take them for a bigger amount as well. They're either gonna show they're contenders or just having a fluke season. Two losing weeks in a row spells BIG wins coming up for Vegas Gold capping. Let's rock.

Boston should be faded the rest of the year IMO - they're officially out of the race and you are going to see some scrubs come up from AA / AAA - nothing to put money on. September is one of the most challenging times to handicap, Baseball is winding down, some teams are giving up and some playoff races get shaky. Football is starting and the "unpredictable" arises despite what we see in our Pre-Season / Off-Season research. But, hell I'm bored so I am still going to play with my money

The thing is that the Red Sox, Padres got swept by good teams. Early last week the Phillies swept the Padres. The Phillies already beat the Brewers twice just not the run-line. The Astros swept the Phils in a 4 game set, and the Orioles swept the Angels last week as well.
You all know this already, but I'm gonna wager "Vegas Gold" style on some other match-ups. Not necessarily home teams. Vegas Gold, you have given us the blue print for success, and I thank you, but with some handicapping I think I can do better. You just seem to blindly pick good home teams regardless of opponent or if the home team is hot or cold. You also ignore other potential favorable situations.

I know how you feel Vegas Gold. I had a very bad day because of the Dodgers yesterday! They made me really upset, everything was in favor to the Dodgers but in the end, the Giants won 3-0... I feel like it's the dogs day recently, most of underdogs are winning the game over hyper favorite... I'm thinking about betting on dogs from now on.. It's Lakerboy who was happy yesterday!
