A starting pitcher is credited with a quality start if he pitches at least six innings and allows three or fewer earned runs.

Don't focus on starting pitchers too much. Even with Lohse on the mound, Cards will finish the job today..
If you like to focus on pitchers, don't forget that Astros are 0-5 in Rodriguez's last 5 road starts vs. Cardinals..

You are right about starting pitching being overrated. I focus on hitting, but the Cards are not hitting well recently.

True the Cards have been poor batting, their pitching though is right at the top...but I have not played the cards yet in this series and agree Lohse is not a key with them...

They will not bet Carpenter. If it looks like they lose tonight that will be my largest play of the year tomorrow. Its already like -260. That will be -300+ by game time time tomorrow if they lose today.
