Rays -155 at most books....Angels have owned the Rays at home over the last few years but this Angels team isnt as good this year so look for that to change this series....Garza who is 5-1 going against Pinerio for game one.

Anyone know the record of teams coming off losing a perfect game??

Pineiro has given up 11 ER in his last two starts. Have a feeling that after being on the other side that perfect game this will be like t-ball for TB. much better line at 5Dimes reduced though

    TB -139 (2x)

Be careful, remember the Rays are an East Coast team that is in midst of being on the West Coast for over a week.
The bats are silent for a reason. Take the LA ANGELS tonight and thank me in the morning

is there any disadvantage to taking the reduced juice in 5dimes?

TB seems like the logical play when looking at records, but I usually stay away from East Coast teams out West. The play I like more is the under for this game. But there are plays with more value on the board, so I'm laying off this one

I like the Angels at current odds. Pineiro has a few bad games under his belt this season. but being more of a fly ball pitcher, he is more likely to be effective at spaciuos Angel Stadium.

A's are a very good and solid team compared to LAA. Angels bullpen is something to worry about. Rays RL for me tonight.

                                        Can't ignore these stats:

                                        1) Angels are 23-3 at home vs. the Rays
                                        2) Rays are 3-11 in Garza's L14 as a road favorite.

BTW, Rays are 13-3 on the road (81%). Can any team in the MLB maintain a 81% road record? I think the Rays road record will undergo some correction and that's what's happening right now. They're now 0-2 in their L2 road games and it looks like they'll go 0-3 after tonight's game.

garza is their best. though not as sharp in his last 2 starts.

maybe now they have sobered up enough to play a game. playing saterday afternoon followed by a sunday afternoon game away from home with too much free time and being out of town may have done them in on sunday. but it was only one game and they didn't lose any ground to the yankees as they lost to the bosox last night.

i had commented after their past road trip how " professional " they were as indicated by only losing 1 game over an extended road trip, that being said, i'm back on the big ray machine tonight !!!! after all, everyone's allowed a screw up every now and then.

Tight game, but Angels win. Not a bad bet at +130
