but i just cant pass on STL +157 tonight in SF playing against the freak, the guy isnt gonna win every game and at this price id say now is the time to take a shot against him..i could be accused of being a homer in this one and its true i dont bet against my cards, However i dont bet on them in games i dont think i have a legit shot...Garcia has been very good already matching up and beating Gallardo and out pitching santana before they both left to watch the 20 inn marathon, SF has hit lefties well but there offense has been less than spectacular as of late while the birds have been stroking the long bal...while Lincecum has had great success against the Birds Holliday is 9-29, Schumaker 5-12, and Pujols 3-8, so some of our guys have had some success...in the Giants 4 game skid the have scored a whopping 5 runs, with the way Garcia is pitching i dont see SF bats coming alive tonight and obviously neither do the odds makers having set a total of 6.5...more fuel for the fire stl has won the opening game of every series thus far, odds are this game is gonna be low scoring and we are getting the team that is bashing the ball at a very juicy price...win or lose i feel like i would be making a big mistake not to take the better team playing better ball at such a good price....STL +157 for me....gl to everyone whatever you decide

im a Lincecum fan myself and id be shocked if he didnt win 20, however getting one of the best teams in the NL at +157 is to sweet to pass, Garcia has been lights out and SF bats have been a mess this last week, 3 could very easily win this and as good as the freak is its not easy to hold our lineup under 3...gl whatever you decide my friend, if it loses i will just come back over the top tomorrow with Wainwright on the bump, hasnt faild so far if cards burn me one game they pay me back the next

im mean Brock likes the over im not sold but certainly wouldnt bet against a rubber band at this point and my totals havnt been great seems i push a ton and am on the wrong side of quite a few, wanted to just roll with the over but i need some stats on how wash has hit knuckleballers and/or actually seen any the last year or so, then you got the triple A kid pitching for was so la has never seen him before, seems like a lot of variables to be that confident in as if the knuckle ball workin could be a long night for hitters, Manny being out wouldnt worry me much just the unknown with these pitchers, i gotta look into it some more

Yeah I do admit I tail many of his plays but am hesitant on this one. Washington is not the most disciplined hitting team IMO which may not be good vs a knuckleball pitcher and it does seem like minor league pitchers coming up stand a decent shot against batters unfamiliar with him, at least first time through the order. No play for me.

yes Lohse is a problem but id take our other 4 over any ones, bullpen is not strong my friend actually our biggest weakness we could really use some help there, on the bright side we got 3 starters you can almost always pencil in for 7-8 innings so that helps and if Garcia continues to look like he has we are in for a good season...you are correct we have had serious problems getting clutch hits, its been pretty much hr or bust for us up until this point....im sure Lincicum will bring his a game however SF has been struggling to score and Garcia has already stood toe to toe with Santana and Galardo so at this price i cant see why not taking a shot with STL

hell guys Lincecum could shut us down and they could win but i promise this, if it misses ill come back over the top with Wainwright on the mound and get it back then some tomorrow...i just find it ridiculous that one of the best 2 teams in the league is +150 to anyone.....Garcia whip .77 era .80, Lincecum whip .80 era .90...and we all know who is pitching against the better offense

I fully agree with you. I did a blog tip for Cardinals ML and the Alternate RL. +280 is too good to pass on a HR-team like Cardinals. If they can go long three times against Haren the other night, they should be able to muster up one or two against Lincecum..

The game is on abit too late for my liking (on the other side of the pond) but I hope to wake up tomorrow morning and have a breakfast beer in celebration. BOL mate!

aggghh MOTTE , Reyes is solid to get lefties, boggs has potential, not sold on Mclellan, and Franklin gets it done i just dont like closers that pitch to contact, fine for regular season but come postseason it is scary.....they have all been decent at times so far but mainly looked good against the stros and mets (not saying much) i look back to the two games on the road at cincy and mil where we tied in the top of the 9th only to not get another at bat...but i suppose there are certainly worse out there, would be nice if we could dump motte and pick up one more reliable arm

What's up Bank?? I was thinking the same as you, playing the cards tonight, follow up tomorrow waith Wainwright. Cards do have a very legit shot at winning tonight. Garcia has been very impressive and his confidence is growing. It will be interesting for sure. I look for our Cardinals to make a move before July to get a true closer, or a set-up guy. Franklin is unstable too many outs through the air. Motte just fukin sucks. He throws hard and straight, not good combination. gl. I like Rays -1.5 and Philly tonight as well. Arizona cannot hit left handed pitching and Hammels has not been that bad, especially his last start.
