    Two words: Jacoby Ellsbury.

When he's played, Boston has 41 runs in 8 games. Since he hurt his ribs and has had to sit out, they have 7 in 4.

It's not that complicated. Take an all-star speed demon out of the lineup, and the team is going to struggle. They'll be fine.

      Not really -- just Ortiz.

Pedroia, Youk, Ellsbury -- these guys aren't over the hill. V-Mart's getting there, but he's still solid.

They'll be fine. Just because that offense isn't the same as it once was everyone tends to think its a bad offense when in fact its still a pretty damn good offense. I think (hope) they break out today. I went fairly large on their team total over 4.5

It has been much more than that...as a team they are batting .255, only .205 in their last three... Also at home a pitiful .238...

Sooner or later they will snap out of it...but I never try to guess when...I will wait till I see their numbers turning up...

            Again, without Jacoby.
