Lot of Home Runs Early on this y ear?

id think the warm weather has a lot to do with it as i havnt seen many games being played in the nasty cold shit we usually get a lot of early on....they still not testing for hgh so that is likely not to mention if these fools are smart its not hard to juice in the off season gain muscle and be clean before the season starts (of coarse they supposed to be tested year round but i find this hard to believe as i doubt every player is available in the off-season for testing)

the PED's help both ways though... pitchers and hitters... I don't think it can just be due to exogenous substances.

actually may be detrimental to do cycles of roids in the off season and then come off them before the season started... you'd shut down your natural testosterone production and be a tired ass skinny depressed boy by all-star break.... the biggest benefit for roids isn't the strength...its the recuperative powers to help players play day after day after day.

yes they certainly help both pitcher and hitter but id think the recuperative powers would benefit the pitcher more....i did a cycle of test last summer (1st time) and did all the post cycle stuff, i put on almost 20 pounds of muscle and since i havnt lost any off it, so when i hear these things about ppl falling off w/o them im not sure what to believe, if they not doing them right, or genetics play a big factor in it? i really dont know, all i can do is base it off personal experience and not only havnt i lost any of it ive actually still gotten stronger since then...while i agree the recuperative powers are great like i said i would think that would be a bigger factor for the pitcher during the season, for the hitter ultimately its the strength they gain that is lifting the ball out of the park

I'd say the reason why this happens is because most pitchers take some time to get sharp in terms of velocity and location. Takes a dozen starts to get your muscle memory back to its peak i suppose.

nice theory, but it doesn't explain anything I asked.....why is this year so different from last year, and other past seasons?

I told you before, it's a new type of steroid. I forget the name but I read up on it at BB.com. You don't need to take Nolvadex after as PCT (which is how they can trace it like with Manny, it's mainly a women's hormone drug).

Either way, I still think many players in all sports have been taking steroids for the majority of their pro careers. Like 2Da said, you take a cycle, take proper PCT and i know you keep the muscle for up to two years, after ONE cycle. The main benefit athletes get from it is not only strength, but RECOVERY. that's why they can be ready to go almost every night.

Warm weather. Also teams like Padres, Astros, Nationals etc have starting pitchers and bullpens equivalent to AAA teams.

Yes, some of the bullpens are an issue. For instance, Haren did so much work for the Dbacks yesterday only to have all that blown away by the pen.

again this is nothing new....we've had shitty starters for teams like the Pirates and Stros for years now.....

Yeah this is why when I don't trust the bullpens I always bet FF. Some of the bullpens in the majors this year are extremely bad.
