This is the first time I will be posting my picks. I have been tracking my systems and strategies for a while. I wanted to wait to start posting my picks until I was confident in my ability to make everybody money. I consider myself a sports investor, meaning my one goal is to have long term profit. Every play I make is a play towards that goal. You might say everyone's goal is to have long-term profit, but I believe many sports handicappers lose track of this goal when they get so involved with the games. My plays are based on my statistical analysis, which finds value in games that, in the long run, will always end up being profitable. I was a multi-sport athlete in college, and so just like when playing in a game, you can't get hung up on any bad play or bad loss that happens, you have to learn from it and move on right away, with that big money-making goal in mind!
I use the Kelly calculator to gauge my units wagered per play. It is a much more volatile investing system, with higher highs and lower lows, but a much higher long-run profit than a simple flat rate betting system. If you do decide to tail me, I would caution to only use the same units I play if you can handle big swings. A flat betting system is better if you're a little more conservative, and will still give you a nice profit in the end.
Now that I've written a little introduction to this thread, I promise I won't write another long piece like this anytime soon. I like to get right to the point with my post...the plays...the units...the profit! I will post the first set of plays about an hour before the start of the afternoon games, and the second group of plays about an hour before the night games. Like I mentioned before, I only make plays where I find very good long-term value, so there will be days with many plays, and other days with few plays, I will never force a play just for the sake of action. See you in the thread.
