I like the over, but nothing can be called a lock. It's just moderately more likely outcome than the under IMO.

I don't know about the over. Pettitte pitched great against Boston and only gave up 1 run. It really depends on how the Yankees bats come through against LA.

Look at Pettitte's stats vs the Angels for the past three seasons. No team has beaten him up worse in that span... I'm playing the Angels and the Over in this one.

The 2 starters combined for an ERA under 10 last year. They're both capable of tossing low scoring games.

So what? These two teams also ranked #1 & #2 offensively last season, scoring an average of about 5.5 runs per game each.

ERA is not a good predictive stat as it reflects a lot of other factors outside of the pitcher's control. Attempting to add ERAs together to predict a game score just doesn't make sense... not to mention that it ignores the impact of relief pitchers...

Ervin Santana is pretty extreme fly-ball pitcher. He tends to have his worst outings at hitter friendly parks.
