    Cardinals v Brewers Hedge System
Sosince alot of these games are crapshoots anyways... Ive decided to try and hedge my Milwakee ML bet. I Placed $100 on Brewers ML @ +134. So to hedge it I will place $100 on St. Louis -1.5 @ +128. THE ONLY WAY I LOSE THIS IS IF THE CARDS WIN BY 1 RUN. So if the Brew win then itll be a $134 profit and if the Cards win by 2 or more then the profit would be $128. Either way I win here. Like I said only way I lose is if the Cards manage to squeek thru tonight with a 1 run win. This has a 66% chance of hitting. There are only 3 outcomes so 33% x 3 = 99%. 1% for the books I guess. So try with caution or dont try at all. Ill take 66% any day over the 50% you get when betting on just 1 side. Plus im getting +money not paying any vig since these lines are from Matchbook. BOL to all tonight. Ill come back after the game to post the results.

The actual probabilities of each event (STL win by 2+, STL win by 1, MIL win) are not each 0.33... I hope it works out for you (hopefully with a Cards win), but I wouldn't recommend this approach in the future.

I think you are miscalculating a few things here. The most obvious being that you are putting up a total of $200... your 'profit' would be $34 or $28, should one of your bets hit. Putting up $200 to win about $30 doesn't seem like a good bet to me.

That said, I liek St. Louis tonight, but a 1 run win wouldn't surpise me at all with Carpenter and Wolf on the mound.

          BoL in whatever you choose.

Brewers win = $134 but a loss of $100 from the hedge, so profit is $34, not $134, right?

My fault guys my math is on 3rd grade level right now. I still like it though and I expect it to hit.

Bad idea, it's like laying a ton of chalk and theres a good chance cards win by a run

Risking 200 to win 34 max.... that's like laying -588 on the cards not to win by 1... some serious juice. definitely NOT worth it
