Girardi swears he was taking CC out after 8th of Nono...
Taking a pitcher out before the last 3 outs of a nono? How the hell would he have done that?

But Joe says no way in hell he lets his Ace throw 130 pitches this soon in season.

Says it was an easy decision to make even if CC had gotten that last out of 8th, only a hard decision for CC to accept

i'd see it if he was already at 100+ pitches with 3+ innings left or something, but with 3 outs left? Have a hard time believing this one.....

guy is full of shit. I hate girardi, not even because he's the yankees manager. Such a force of a manager

what youngins? I don't see how he motivates any of players at all. I think Derek Jeter has more of an impact and presence on the team than girardi does.

I disagree. It's an easy decision for a lot of managers to make at this point in the season, whether they notify the press about it or not at some point. If he had done it 30+ years ago, then it would've generated controversy. With the way things have changed managing a pitcher through a game with pitch counts later second-guessed, allowing a pitcher the shot at a no-hitter is not the fans' or press' right or opportunity to see.
