      so right. you have to be careful when betting huge favorites. often, it is because an "ace" is pitching against a "bad" team, but if the Aces team cant score runs...it doesnt matter. mets were a perfect example...they are not good, so who cares if johan is pitching....

      a much better bet would have been on the phils with halladay pitching and the sticks to back him up

                          if you are betting favorites over -140 or -150 on a consistent basis you are gonna lose money unless you are the luckiest person ever, which is possible but not likely.
