im a mets fan and have been watching him for years now.

he is not even close to what he once was. he can barely hit 90 and is a 2 pitch pitcher now. he used to at least mix in his slider.

dont believe us - go check his numbers.

Books are getting killed lately, they are trying to get some back, be careful with the big favs.
houston and milwakee have good chances today for wins

Glad I did not bet this, no one is a lock anymore in baseball.

Santana is very good though, actually been great with Mets

the word lock should never be used in baseball betting.....

at best you are dealing with a 68% proposition.....

                          its baseball you mopes

Santana isnt what he used to be. You could probably make money in the long run betting against him all season. He will be over priced almost everytime he pitches.

                                  Heres a little excercise-

                                  K/9 --7.9 -- 7.7
                                  BB/9 -2.5 -- 1.8
                                  WHIP - 1.29 --1.06
                                  FiP -- 3.79 -- 3.65
                                  ERA --3.13 --3.10
                                  IP -- 166.2 -- 177.0

The above stats are for two starting Lefties in the NL - one is Johan Santana - without looking who do you think the other is?
