I have seen SD play all year. When the Padres aren't at home and they don't get the extra 2 inches on either side of the plate, then they are less than stellar. Maddux, Peavy and Young are all overrated when they don't get the extra inches.
This is true. Fact. Peavy maybe not so much, but Young and Maddux for sure.
Just like I said. Look what happens when the SD pitchers don't get their 2-3 extra inches. SHALACKED!

Good game.. Glad I won my rockies bet, but I will agree that the ump made a bad call. He never touched home plate. Would be pissed if I was a padres backer tonight..

If they're gonna talk about that call, they'd better explain the home run that was ruled a double. I have to wonder how the umps thought a ball could take a carom like it did off the top of a padded wall. It was obvious it hit something beyond the wall. Game should have been over in 9.

EXACTLY , the bs replacement for Cameron in center field should have gunned Smith out at the plate on that weak short sac fly in the 6th inn .
Peavy not being sharp and living up to his best road record in ALL OF BASEBALL no doubt pointed towards taking Col .

Always go against the starting pitcher with the best overall stat that pertains to the matchup in question . SOUND ADVICE
