It was a little better price for Det 1st 5 than for the game & figured if they blew it it would be late. It was a toss up after them going down 2 for sure

Well if a team has a questionable starter and a strong bullpen or vice-versa then it's certainly worth looking into.

I just figured Det would be leading while their good SP was in there, who knows what the fuk will happen once you get in the pen. That's what you bet most the time anyway is the SP, so why not take 1st 5???

most square bettors look ONLY at the starting pitching, or at least that is the biggest factor in the their decision. and they leave to chance the bullpen. they would be better off taking first fives.

when you have 3-7 different pitchers taking the mound at some point during the game, all it takes is for one guy to be off his game to blow your bet..... if you based your bet on someone like Rich Harden starting, who is often lights out but only lasts 5-6 innings, you'd be an idiot NOT to bet the first five

exactly Chi. Porcello is solid and has a great record against Clev. I liked Det for the game but based mostly on Porcello. SO why not take the first 5 where he will be pitching? Im no sharp bases bettor and dont claim to be, bases to me is just the time between hoops & football. But I just use logic and that seemed like a logical play. I've played 5 1st inning run plays so far & hit all 5. 4 yes & 1 no on this game. I just look at several different factors. I liked no in this one because of the good #'s of porcello & the early cold start, plus the sharp bases guys here like it under. Its hard for a game to go under when they get runs in the 1st inning I figure. Like I said, I havent bet bases in over 5 years, so Im relearning everything. I usually take the summer off & stay drunk on the boat! LoL!! But I'm trying to stay sober a little bit & learn something this summer

detroit was a good game to take this morning. with that monster error causing 3 runs, mental fatigue was a large part in the result

I had under 4.5 1H, it was the right play and should have cashed, so not going to let it bother me and just moving on to tonight. And the poster Mr. who had the under as well and had the Tribe +1/2 1H, both were the right 1H plays and should have cashed, get playing that way and you will show a profit.

Next time you have Peralta in your back pocket how about giving a guy a call, **** that was a brutal way to lose a play but at least you cashed your Detroit play.
