Guys, I haven't been watching football for long, got a question, they had the ball at the red zone, do they continue from there if the quarter ends? I kno at the end of 2nd, that does not apply.

Yea sneakerhead. After the first and third quarters they continue from where they are. They just switch ends of the field. At the end of the 2nd quarter its halftime. They come out and kickoff to the team who didnt get the ball at the beginning of the game. And of course after the 4th quarter the game is over. If its overtime its a coin toss and who ever wins gets the ball kicked to them.

They usually do that when they make a bad call alamo. Thats why they call it a make up call. If they call a big penalty on one team I doubt if they will call one on the other team just to do it. You never know though. Refs are unpredictable.
