i think tenn was better than ucla and they managed to lose to them at home as well as struggling with a mac ohio team. hawaii sucks but making that trip your first game of the year and giving up 21 is a big number. my likes:

i definitely see utah beating pitt at home and pitt starting a new qb with virtually no experience in a rough environment and mtsu has a qb with flash and they are chomping at the bit to get big 10 minny in their place. and i just never like s.car to cover a big number. same with osu in their first game. defense will be awesome but don't think that will give them -28.

I'm going small on Pitt for sure (0.5 X) because its obviously risky, but Pitts 3 losses last year were by a combined 11 points, I think the +3 might come in handy, I might buy it up to +3.5 to be a little bit more safe

thugs? i'm trying to remember sc players involved in many legal issues while playing and i can't think of anything major. i know uga and tenn had quite a few arrests, but not sc. sounds like a borderline racist comment.

then i am curious to know what makes a college athlete at usc a thug. and unless you don't have a tv or a computer, the word thug is always used race specific in a subtle manner. thugs is always used to describe nba players, although they are in trouble with the law far less than some other sports. and i stated my opinion, not an invitation to a huge discussion. if the commenter wants to discuss, we both have pm boxes.

Why is giving 26.5 pts money in the bank? Espec. when the only good player they had last year is now playing in the NFL? You don't think that because of their past, the books priced them pretty heavily knowing people will take ball state?

I'm just always shocked when people turn words into racisit, when it couldn't be further from the truth. Sure black guys can be thugs, but so can white guys, latinos, asians, anyone. It's a word to decribe the behavior of someone, not their color. Not to mention half of the NHL is referred to as thugs, and they are 99% white
