Dont think LaRussa wants anything to do with NY. Stl is a baseball town and they love him there. I would think he understands any team he goes to has to have talent. Stl is has a nice core of starting pitching as well as a talent out in the field. Also going to a team that is considered second to the Yanks, is that a step up?
