Guys, what is your opinion about upcoming UFC card?

What amazes me is that Shogun is at +165 odds.

Standing

Jones has reach advantage, but Shogun is clearly better standing to me and has way more power in his hands. Jones can't hurt him on his feet. Shogun has had problems with overcoming reach (remember Snake), but Jones is nowhere near the striker Cyrille Diabate is.

Ground

Of course Jones should have easy time taking him down given Shoguns lousy TD defense. But I doubt he can keep Shogun there. Shogun is tricky on the ground and will sweep him easily or even surprise with some leglock.

Verdict
My verdict is Shogun wins by a KO. If he loses then only by decision due to bad stamina and Jones takedowns. But +165 is a very good value, I will probably go BIG!



And CroCop at +225. I also have little faith in him now, but he should have some Croatian respect left. I will consider him also.

i should've taken a break from the nba grind prior to madness starting. i feel like my head is going to explode from the constant action. or maybe its because i just got this new macbook pro and i can't figure out how to use hardly anything but safari. been on windows os for ever and this is fukkin with my head.

Hard for me to pass up on Sho Gun at these odds. The guy is a proven fighter that beat some very god fighters in their prime. 4 out of the last 7 guys Bones beat are not even in the UFC any longer. I'm rolling with the Gun tomorrow, but not for a big amount.

If you guys take Cro Cop then you are just pissing your money away....CroCop doesn't do well when people press the action and Schaub is going to be in his face all fight. Shogun has a chance with the KO but like the one poster said, I think his achilles heel is going to be his takedown defense and Jones has great top control so I don't think Shogun will be able to sweep him....just my opinion.
