Figured I'd go ahead and create an account and keep track of my 2010 MLB plays through this thread.
Look for it to be quite a grind, hopefully grinding out a profit by the end of the season.
I'm not big on huge favorites, but will play anything I feel has value. I bet Sides and Totals and will keep an Overall Record, a Sides Record, and a Totals Record.
Bankroll Management is key to my grind. I have a 1% base unit and will bet up to 5% on a given play but not often as I approach this as a grind, rather than a get rich quick scheme. I rank my plays 1-5 according to my belief in the strength of the play, but I mainly like limiting exposure with 1*-2* plays unless I have knowledge or information that warrants differently. I am a volume better, and love investing in A LOT of plays each and every day. Bad days will happen and I will hate that I had 9 plays, but that's life. This is a grind.
Favorites are to win X* units and dogs are risking X* Units. I make all of my plays at Matchbook
and hope to consistently beat closing lines
. I'll post a play in this thread as soon as I lock it in at matchbook.
I'm strictly recreational, just trying to grind out some "free" money while I'm in college majoring in Finance
Give me some time before you formulate an opinion on me
Fade, Follow, or Ignore, Best of Luck regardless
