Cadillac Pete's "Owning Mahoney" Baseball Thread 2010
For those that have seen the movie, Owning Mahoney, there is a scene where the he calls his bookie to place baseball bets. He tells the bookie to give him all the National league "home teams", and the all the American league "away teams" that were on the card that day. I thought about tracking it to see how it would do if one took this approach. I know its not a method by any means and probably sounds completly dumb, but out of curiosity, I want to give it a go. So what better way to start then Opening Day. I hope to keep up with it for the entire year. I'll calculate the won/loss record and use the 5 Dimes opener to calculate units. I'll do a 1 unit=$100 for tracking purposes. Who knows, where this will go.

    4/4 Game.

Thanks. I don't know if these figures include inter-league games, but if so, I am not going to count those.
