Well at this point Twins are up 4-3 in the 6th, win or loose this game brings me to an important point. That in pre season keep your bets to a 1/2 unit or less. EX. Hamles was to go 2-3 inn.,then manager was to look at other pitchers. Well Hamels has now pithed into the 6th inn. Its no big deal cause we have 8 more days untill the real thing, but a penney saved is a penney earned.

Yes we will I AM going to have a thread forMLB , BASSEBALL is the best sport.!! FYI in the Twins game for PHILA., Baez,Contreras and Herdon did pitch at the end of the game . Phla. left Hamels in for a 1/3rd of a inn. to long,and gave up 5 ER. GL

Nice winner today Terp! Ever since you started talkin about your past success with MLB I've been awaiting the season to start to see how you do & tail some plays.

I don't do bases anymore, well, haven't in a few years. I basically stop in April & start back up for football season, just playing the occasional MLB game on a tip or something. All 3 sports are just too much to keep up with & be successful imo. I kinda need the summer to take off & relax. But I'm lookin to play a little this summer & kinda get back into the groove of it, now that I have more time on my hands.

If you dont mind sharing what are the basic elements you look for in finding an edge in a matchup? Where do you start? I know some people only play dogs & small fav's, nothing over 130-140 range. They just look at the dogs & find that one thing that might make it a play & start digging deeper instead of trying to cap the whole board

Profit there are many things to look at, The pitchers last 3 outings,ERA,OBA and AWHP,IS a good start. Is the TEAM on a current streak? Also the the starting pitchers career stats vs opp. I never lay more than -150 and never bet on a hot team to loose or a cold team to win. These are the basics, what I will do is to include everything in my first thread. Good luck to you.

Profit one more thing, I use a lot of reverses during baseball season. For lack of a better term I CALL THIS THE MULTIPLER EFFECT OF BASEBALL. What I do is this I will bet a small dog and a small fav. on a reverse. But on the small fav. I will lay -1.5 runs and take back + 180 or so. On a $100 reverse Team a + 130 , team b -1.5 + 180. If both win + $ 620.! IF team a lost and team b wins, you still net + $80.!! Hope this helps.

No team A and team B are two different bets. Do the math on paper. Team A IF TEAM B, THEN REVERSE THEM. Team B if team A.
