    100-1 Futures prop
I just threw down $100 for Kendry Morales to hit the most home runs this year at 100-1. Its obviously not likely but this guy has incredible power and I like those odds. The Cuban Missile Crisis is gonna have a great year!

Not bad at all. Barring any injuries, he should be in the running at the end of the season.

There's also another prop I saw for how many home runs he will hit in 2010. I believe it was over/under 24.5 ! I like the over!

Love that over. Don't know about the first one but at 100-1 it's not a terrible bet.

100 bucks on a 100 to 1 shot at Betus? Good luck seeing that money if it hits.

i dont want to burst ur bubble, but u just threw $100 away. That over/under on his HRs is a very likely number to what he will finish at, if u look at his numbers, hes much likely to decline in terms of HRs to sub 30 then to repeat last years nice run. no doubt morales is a solid hitter, but there are too many power specialists like ryno that will mash their way to the HR leaders of the majors.

                                  good luck regardless

At first, I thought it was a bad bet but upon further review, 100-1 seems like a decent price. Kendry is 26 and he had a 163 PX score last year. If he can bump up his PX to 180ish, increase his FB% a couple ticks and gets a little lucky with his HR/FB ratio, 50 homers is not out of question and in this post-steroid era, that might be enough to win.

That's the whole point. I assume I threw this money away but at 100-1 odds the risk is there. He started hitting from the right side a lot better last year and I really think he's just starting to scratch the surface.

I think with bets like this the oddsmakers put some value (at least 5 home runs less) in the chance the player can get injured. I say that because if Kendry is healthy all year this is a slam dunk.
