Buy or Sell the Detroit Tigers right now?

I'm buying the Tigers winning the wild card this year.

Now grant it the Yankees are up 4 games on the Tigers in the Wild card race right now, and the Yankees will be facing 2 series with Baltimore, and Tampa Bay. That right there is roughly 10 games of about 22 they have left to play.

Mean while Detroit has to play Cleveland for a 3 game series, but they get to play Texas, KC, White Sox, and Minnesota to finish up the season. I think the Tigers could conceivably win almost every one of those games down the stretch.

Danny, Tigers are hitting well but pitching is still suspect.

Pitching has been brutal for them indeed sir, but the hitting is clutch though. Just look at tonights final score, because it backs that little fact right there.
