I handicapped this game after I saw you guys talking about it. No way would I have bet on the wsox. Here is why:
WSox team ERA last 7 games 5.57
WSox runs scored per game last 7 games 3.16

OUCH!!!!

Then you look at the pitching matchup
Hernandez last 3 starts 3.92 ERA
Hernandez vs WSox hitters .214 BAA

Garland last 3 starts 9.64 ERA
Garland vs Mariners hitters .310 BAA

I almost bet Seattle and the OVER on this game after handicapping it. But I had a lot of other plays today.

Exactly! This was one of the worst picks I've made, and it cost me, big.

At least I could have helped you guys by making it a Super Duper all-star tremendous lock of the Century!!, then it would have been a little more obvious to fade.

Dude, don't bet the cubs. St Louis is tops in major leagues in runs scored last 7 games....3rd in majors in ERA last 7 games....cubs are near the bottom in ERA last 7 games....Wells is 2.37 ERA last 3 starts, Zambrano is 7.13 ERA last 3 starts.
