he beat williams on 7/27 9-4

I like to take the pitcher that loss the next time around it does pretty good

plus williams is 4-1 vs SD

what do you think worth a shot or not

I wouldn't do it straight up to win...maybe a small amount on a parlay of some kind but nothing major. Plus, Houston may be getting shut out here...so going from a shut out to Peavy can't be good...

It might be, considering the Padres bullpen is being used early in todays game. But I am sure they will try to get 7 or 8 innings out pf Peavy.

Then again, I think Houstons pen is getting over taxed today as well.

I wouldn't bet it, but some others might find value in Houston.

Houston's the only way to play this game. Williams has been much better of late, and despite how good Peavy is, SD should never be laying this much with their inept offense.

Looks like I am the odd man out, you are all saying Houstin and Williams here....I got to dissagree, I like Peavy and the Padres here.

Williams only lasted 6 innings on 7/27 allowing 8 hits & 5 runs, turned it over to the relievers, final score 9-4 Padres!

Peavy pitched them an awesome 7 innings allowing just 4 hits and 1 run! You may argue that Peavy is not at his best at home, That has shown to be true, but its Peavy, he has great stuff, if he doesnt do it, he has a great pitching staff behind him.

I take the Padres.

Peavy may be a better road pitcher, he has an ERA of just 1.06 on the road, and an ERA of 3.10 at home.....

But the thing is, Williams is completely opposite, williams is a better home pitcher! Home: 4.70 Road: 5.40

It would probably also be a good UNDER play, the Padres bats arent hot, but I think Peavy will fight off Houston's Offense just enough for a few runs scored by the Padres to get them the win.

Not to mention the HUGE 9 run rally by the padres against Colorado tonight....they are going to be pumped up after that and with their Ace on the mound!

got to go with a bigtime starter especially since bullpens are sucking ass lately. Peavy can go 7 strong . Woody's road ERA 5.40 with a 2-8 road record. Rolling w/Peavy for me
