ganch, do you play more totals per night than teams on a daily basis ?
or is this just an exceptional night for totals.

Oak-Det OVER, boo ya! Got it when it was still at 10. I think it might rise to 11 by 1st pitch.
TOR normally I would be weary of because they just don't score for Litsch. Odalis Perez cures that.

Dodgers, definitely. I think the edge is small, but solid. I just didn't list it because I only like to post things I like more than just as a lean, only things I'm close to 100% sure I'm going to actually bet on.

About even, some days more on totals, some more on sides. I usually bet both the side and total for every game though, although for greatly varying amounts of course. Many games I just bet a token amount on, which might count as a "no bet" from some people's perspectives.
I noticed you are curious about MLB totals AC.
In general I would say there are more unders that I like than overs, but more overs that I like a lot than unders. Which stands to reason.
As others have stated, ballparks, weather, game-specific bullpen situations, current state of the starting pitching, HP ump, and obviously, the line of the total, are all huge factors. Usually they are not strong factors, or sometimes conflicting factors, but if you get a few that are strongish in the same direction, that's when you can have good totals bets.

Me too, I feel more comfortable with it at 10. 10.5 is good when you are expecting both teams to score decently but not explosively, but in a game like this, where one team might get shut down but the other might score in bunches, the difference between 10 and 10.5 is important.

I would like to start following the totals more carefully perhaps for next season. Since football is quickly approaching and baseball still plenty to go I don't really have enough room on my plate right now to place $$$ on totals as I would expect it wouldn't be profitable for me at this time. I need to do my homework for totals but I appreciate the response.
