i dont think duensing is even close to as good as hughes....his numbers are aided by his home park (and hughes are hurt by his)

no, i dont know that. duensing has a 6.11 era/1.81 whip last 3 games where as hughes has been hot with a 3.79/1.16. duensing got pounded in his only career start in yankee stadium.

i hope you didnt just compare cc sabathia with phil hughes.....

Duensing is 4-2 with a 3.27 ERA on the road this year. He is 6-2 in night games with a 2.22 ERA this year. Phil Hughes has a era over 4 at home and in night games. Dex arguing with you is like talking to a wall you are so silly stubbron my friend. THe yanks could win this game but the twins are the value play cause they have been dying to hit a righthanded pitcher. Hughes pitches okay the last few games so now he is gold. Duensing is garbage now cause of a bad few starts when nothing was on the line. LOL at -170 being value.


As for the CC comaprison all i said was that if hughes was so good he wouldnt have that kind of era at home.


Oh of course that one game sample of Duensing at yankee stadium is the definitive edge. THe books could have made the yanks -200 on saturday and still gotten all yanks action.

How about this:

Game 1: CC left in the 6th, game tied at 4-4. No one stepped up for the Twins, and Yanks won down the stretch.
Game 2: Pavano left in the 6th game tied at 2-2. Pettitte left in the 7th. Again, no one stepped up for the Twin, and Yanks won again.

Baring a fix, Yanks bats have proved to be too much for the Twins. Keep in mind that the Twins were going against Yanks' bullpen from 7th-9th innings. They couldn't produce on their own turf. Unless the Twins can get 5 runs off of Hughes, they have no chance.
