SF/SD Under 8 -120 (FRIDAY) Any thoughts here on this ?
Was fully expecting 7.5, glad to have 8 considering it's going to take 9+ to beat this..

Two very capable pitchers (Cain and Maddux)
    Pitchers BallPark (PETco)

SF batting .252 as a team
SD batting .243 as a team

Giants have scored more than 5 runs only once in their last 11 games.

Looking for low scoring game here..

    any thoughts?

Maddux is too hit or miss to warrant a 7.5 on the board. The old bats of the Giants are always happier when they can go up against someone who throws soft. Cain is a young pitcher with great talent and upside yet prone to inconsistency. SF bullpen got a serious workout tonight and is not performing well right now anyway. The Padres have been improving on offense and Milton Bradley is out of his mind.

I would definitely go with the soft price on the other side of 8.

Yes indeed and obviously it was correct (I suppose). Maddux was very sharp but it also helped that Milton Bradley took a seat after his first at bat. After he was out of the lineup, their best hitter had a .266 average and it showed.

Played this one live and held the under from the first inning on, then hedged with OVER 4.5 when I thought Cain would be lifted in the 7th as the Giants had 2nd and 3rd with one out. He wasn't lifted and of course he was retired, but Roberts came through clutch with 2 outs. I knew as soon as the bullpen came for the Giants the floodgates would open. 7 is between 4.5 and 7.5 so needless to say I was happy. As I'm sure you were happy nobody was on base when the final homerun came.
