    Reversing previous night's play
Anyone ever notice that teams that tend to have a very high scoring game the night before go "under" the next night, and vice versa? A perfect example would be the Dodgers & Mets, who scored 22 runs on 7/19 (Lowe vs Glavine, yet), and then scored 5 last night. Another example is the Pads & Phils, who scored 1 run on 7/19, and then went over last night, when the line was 9, and looked to be an "obvious" under?
Have noticed this trend in the NFL as well, when divisional teams play each other for the 2nd time. Feedback??

thats exactly what i said yesterday guys..those who got hammered bad last night are gonna come back with a vengence and win.
As for the over/under, its pretty predictable too..those games that went over will be under and vice versa

Wonder if anyone has tracked the stats on both these angles for doubleheaders, also.

Based on that, would you be taking Yanks, Tigers, Reds & Pads today? Obviously, nothing works all the time, but both these are interesting angles.

Pirates didn't get blown out yesterday, though. Do you define a "blowout" as losing by 6 runs or more?
              Like this o/under trend, too!

I used to know of an NFL system that was successful for many years regarding playing the opposite of the previous game's o/u in their second meeting. However, it wasn't that simple and there were a number of other factors that had to be taken into consideration.
