i love MLB. the best sport to have money on. ANYTHING can happen on any given pitch. you NEVER know. and there's no running out the clock, you NEED to get that last out to end the game. teams can come back at any time. i just love it!

Last year was a weird year for MLB.

Being a Met fan it is going to be rough getting excited about baseball season. I get to watch a terrible staff every night minus Santana. Betting wise though baseball is a ****ing grind. I always get super excited until about June and then it just feels like "really? Still 4 more months of this?" I think baseball takes more research and handicapping then any other sport by far.

Doctor, I think the first game of the season is Sunday night, April 4. Seeing a Yankees-Red Sox game at Fenway listed for that evening on ESPN2's broadcast schedule.


But for me, baseball begins Feb 8. The day after the Super Bowl (Feb 7 this year) is like a second New Year's Day to me. Queen Bee and I have a standing movie & dinner date on Super Bowl Sunday -- I've seen one Super Bowl since 1992 -- and then i wake up the next morning and know that baseball is here!
